if using PICO and I wanted to search for the benefits of interprofessional education on Clinical Practice.Ive chosen Nursing as P Clinical practice as the I and Inter-professional as O am I right or is it the other way round Basically looking at the impact of one on the other so I just need to get the PICO right searching is not the problem Ive already started this just need to be sure thanks

- Answered 19 Nov 2019 Conflict of interest declaration: None I would have it as: P - nursing I - inter-professional education C - nothing O - outcome I say that as the thing that you're studying (the intervention) is the education and you're interested in the effect it has (the outcome) on clinical practice. I've created a search on Trip to approximate that  and that generates a number of relevant hits. I've also done the same with Google Scholar  and PubMed  The one thing to consider is the different terms that could be used to describe inter-professional education, for instance could 'collaborative education' be another term (and I dare say there are others), same goes for 'inter-professional learning'. I guess it depends on how thorough you want/need to be.
