What are the US guidelines on Clostridium difficile and cleaning?I'm specifically looking for: Who produced the guideline? What intervention was found to be most effective in reducing diff. spores? What evidence-based prevention strategies can be used to promote compliance with hand hygiene guidelines in the healthcare setting? Thanks for any help!

- Answered 24 Nov 2019 Conflict of interest declaration: None There are a number of US guidelines as found by a search of Trip. If you do a specific title search it finds 7 but if you look for guidelines that mention Clostridium difficile in the title or the text you get 56 . Having a quick look through, the title search looks best! As there are more than one guidelines you'll have to look through and decide which ones you want to examine. For instance there are 6 producers of the 7 guidelines: Infectious Diseases Society of America Surgical Infection Society American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma American College of Gastroenterology Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America Once you've selected it should be in the text(s) the answers to your latter Qs References 1) https://www.tripdatabase.com/search?categoryid=9&criteria=(title%3AClostridium%20difficile) 2) https://www.tripdatabase.com/search?categoryid=9&criteria=Clostridium%20difficile
